Third nominee Lt. Col. Jannette Chavez-Arceo emphasized the need for a holistic approach to national security.
“A nation’s strength is measured not just by its military force but by the well-being of its people. Economic stability, education, and livelihood are key to securing our communities,” she said.
Second nominee Col. Noel Detoyato echoed this sentiment, stressing the importance of long-term peace in Mindanao.
“The future of Mindanao depends on security and development going hand in hand. We must ensure that communities feel safe so that progress can take root,” he stated.
Meanwhile, first nominee Lt. Col. Jaime Roberto Almario reaffirmed the mission of Laang Kawal to champion policies that will protect the nation and recognize the role of reservists.
“We are committed to ensuring that those who serve, particularly our reservists, receive the benefits, recognition, and opportunities they rightfully deserve,” he said.
The movement to strengthen Laang Kawal’s advocacy extended to Surallah, South Cotabato, where the party list was formally introduced to the local community.

“I firmly stand with Laang Kawal Partylist and its nominees, especially Congressman Bob Almario, whom I consider a brother. I will make sure that those who want to become reservists receive the benefits they deserve. This will be turned into law and delivered to all,” he said.
As Mindanao continues to build a more secure and prosperous future, Laang Kawal remains dedicated to working alongside its people.
With growing public support, the party list aims to push for policies that will empower communities, strengthen security, and ensure that reservists play a vital role in national development.
